Hogwarts Preparatory Academy is known around the world as a school with the highest standards of magical education for students younger than eleven years old. This status has brought us visitors from distinguished institutions around the world, and we are thrilled to welcome them year after year.
Minister for Magic, United Kingdom of Great Britan and Northern Ireland
Minister Granger-Weasley is well known for many things throughout the wizarding world. Her intellect, bravery, and passion for treating every creature equally has made her a world-reknowned witch in many subjects. She is gracious enough to take time out of her busy schedule to teach the students of Hogwarts Preparatory Academy History of Magic and Charms.
The minister also teaches the students about the importance of treating all creatures fairly, and gives every student an opportunity to join the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare, which she founded in 1994. You can make a donation to this cause at virtual diagon alley.
The minister is also in charge of connecting Hogwarts Preparatory Academy with the Magical Congress of America, the Ministry Muggle Relations Office, and several of the school’s other distinguished visitors. If you notice an issue with this website, please contact her at the email below.

Inspector, Department of Magical Education, Ministry of Magic
Every year Hogwarts Preparatory Academy is visited by an inspector from the Ministry of Magic’s Department of Education. These inspections are necessary to ensure that the students at Hogwarts Preparatory are receiving the proper education in a safe and welcoming environment.
In 2018, we were visited by Princeton Rhodes, a highly respected representative within the International Department of Magical Education. While he had some concerns about some very minor incidents involving a rare magical creature and a few Dark wizards, Inspector Rhodes ultimately gave the Academy a glowing review and has advised the Ministry that the camp should be continued for many years to come.
He particularly enjoyed the butterbeer.
Inspector Rhodes’ full report is on display for review by the public at:

To keep our students as safe as possible from the forces of Dark Magic, we employed the services of the world-renowned private Auror, Alvis Barolo of Alvis Barolo’s Private Auror Agency. Mr. Barolo is the author of the wildly popular memoirs, Facing Danger with a Charming Smile and Everyone Wants to be as Magical as Me. He writes a weekly moustache-care column for Which Wizard Weekly and American Charmer Magazine. He is a eight-time winner of Witch Weekly’s Most Dashing Moustache Award.
Mr. Barolo, who attributes his crime-solving ability to his extreme cleverness and exhilarating fashion sense, declared Hogwarts Preparatory Academy to be completely free of Dark Magical activity. The fact that this declaration took place on the same day as an attack by a few nefarious wizards is almost certainly an unfortunate coincidence.
To order Mr. Barolo’s Kwikspell Correspondence Course, “Werewolves, Wiles, and Disarming Smiles: How to Find Work as a Private Auror,” or your very own autographed photo, sign up for the Alvis Barolo fan club at Virtual Diagon alley or send an owl to:

Hogwarts Preparatory Academy was in for a wonderful surprise when, in 2020, one of the most famous magizoologist in history used a time turner just to come speak to our students! He is an expert in Care of Magical Creatures and adds his knowledge to Professor Dragonbottoms lessons.
Newt Scamander is most well known for writing Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them which is still considered the most accurate and complete catalog of magical creatures in the world. He also served in World War One, using his talents with creatures to tend to dragons across eastern Europe.
Like Hermione Granger, Minerva McGonagall needs no introduction. She arrived at Hogwarts Preparatory Academy after a vanishing cabinet malfunctioned, depositing her at our school rather than at her relative’s home in Scotland. She honored us by staying for our traditional wizard tea, even assisting Madame Emerald with etiquette lessons.
